Is astrologie waar of niet? Misschien een beetje en een beetje niet? Hoe kunnen we dat te weten komen en waarom zou dat nodig zijn? Daarover gaat dit boekje. Het bevat zo een beetje mijn konklusies van 20 jaar astrologie-studie.
Ik overloop op een kritische manier allerlei gedachten en technieken die in de astrologenwereld gemeengoed zijn. Sommige daarvan vormen een logisch en koherent geheel, terwijl andere mekaar tegenspreken.
Behandelde onderwerpen zijn bv.:

  • Vooroordelen zowel bij astrologen als bij wetenschappers
  • Kenmerken van goede theorieën
  • Horoskopen van wie en wat?
  • De geboorte (tijdstip, al of niet natuurlijk,...)
  • Biologische en kosmische tweelingen
  • Leven naar de horoskoop?
  • Het astrologische referentiestelsel (koördinaten, geocentrisch/heliocentrisch, tropisch/siderisch)

  • Synastrietechnieken vergeleken (onderlinge aspekten, komposiet, Davison, huiskontakthoroskoop, relatiehoroskoop)
  • Onderlinge konsistentie van systemen
  • Mengelingen van systemen (numerologie, I Ching, tarot,...)
  • Uurhoekastrologie
    Tevens geef ik suggesties voor een meer wetenschappelijke aanpak van de astrologie (het zoeken naar een mechanisme enerzijds, en statistiek anderzijds) met tal van praktische voorbeelden: onderzoek van aantrekking op het eerste zicht, het gebruik van transitkoncentratiegrafieken, koppeltesten, enz.
